State Fashion Revue Committee
Minutes
April 5, 2000, University Park
The following were in attendance at the State Revue Meeting: Vicki Lewis, Karen Thomas,
Mary Ann Olyer, Phyllis Laufer, Carolyn Wissenbach, Deb Rowan, Katina Showman and
Jan Scholl.
The following is an outline of those on the committee and the regional revue chairs.

The following are the positions for the State Committee:
Katina Showman (chair)
Mary Ann Oyler (co-chair-judging)
Phyllis Laufer (narrations)
Vicki Lewis (state manager)
Carolyn Wissenbach (program)
Karen Thomas and Deb Rown (tabulations).
We still need one person to be a gate keeper during the judging to help Mary Ann.
Please note that the deadline for the Regional Fashion Revue ribbon orders is May
1 to Phil Hoy (please send me a copy as well). I will send out camera ready copies
of the judges score sheets (they are the same as last year). If you don't order ribbons,
please let me know so I can get a set of score sheets out to you.
The Form 1 and the participants forms are due to me no later than July 11
(this date has been in several previous newsletters) this year. I am not going to
have a secretary for much of July so it is critical that the forms come in on this
date so I can check if you have everything in. Make sure that you keep a copy of
the forms so if they are accidently lost in the mail they can be retrieved. DO NOT
SEND ANY FORMS OVERNIGHT MAIL. (They often take up to a week to get here when sent
in state.) Double check all forms as the young people are penalized for incomplete
forms or narrations that are too long.
Also, double check to see if your region is responsible for a narrator this year.
This information is on Form 1 and in the Regional Fashion Revue information on the
web. If you know you will have an extra person who can be a narrator or if you cannot
supply one from your region, please let me know as soon as possible after the regional
revue.
Theme for this year is: Taming the Tropical Isles.
The theme for next year is: Garden of Fashion.
