Completing this challenge will increase agent awareness, involvement, and leadership in the 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences projects and programs. Agents are encouraged to complete as many goals as possible at each level. Those who complete at least six goals at any level will be recognized.

Completed forms should be forwarded to Jan Scholl by April 1 every year. You may submit one application per person each year.

Level I - Awareness

Complete six goals to receive a certificate of recognition.

___Read 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences e-mails and ATS articles regularly.

___Locate one of the resources to use in your program.

___Log on and scan offerings on both 4-H and 4-H Family and Consumer Science Web site.

___Share information about 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences projects at a meeting.

___Meet with 4-H leaders to conduct an inservice, training meeting, or tour.

___Conduct a county fashion revue, or participate on a regional fashion revue committee.

___Help at least one member or leader find resources for a project.

___Prepare a team to go to the foods and nutrition contest or demonstration contest.

___Encourage and work with at least one 4-H member to prepare a 4-H FCS-related demonstration or illustrated talk.

___Check revised FAMILY GUIDE and update 4-H Family and Consumer Science offerings in your county mailroom.

___Help someone with a family and consumer science question or contest application.

___Send a news article, column, or radio spot to the paper about any 4-H Family and Consumer Science contest, activity, or member's achievement.

Level II - Involvement

___Serve on a statewide 4-H Family and Consumer Science curriculum committee or contest committee.

___Design a special exhibit for one or more 4-H Family and Consumer Science projects.

___Visit a 4-H club, helping the leader with a 4-H Family and Consumer Science activity.

___Report on a 4-H Family and Consumer Science activity that can be used in the 4-H FCS newsletter, excellence award, or in a PJO or POW.

___Develop a new or revise an older county 4-H Family and Consumer Science project.

___Conduct a county or regional training in one or more 4-H Family and Consumer Science projects.

___Send in comments to state level on a curriculum project that is being revised or coordinate leader reviews of a project to the state level.

___Assist with teen leader training in the 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences area.

___Develop a new contest, lock-in program, or 4-H Family and Consumer Science camp.

___Sucessfully move graduating EFNEP 4-H'ers into a county 4-H club or school enrichment program.
